I'll only let people do that to me if they are holding a high caliber weapon to my head. :(

Well, my Puppy and my Wife are the only things I have of Value, that I could trade to Bob for a kit. But I certainly could Not trade my Puppy, so I don't have many things to Barter with, either. :o
              Oh well, I can Dream, can't I?

You can keep a look out for a S/H kit, they do come up from time to time, especially when a revised kit comes out with increased accuracy, as purists have to have the best and often pass on their unbuilt kits at a loss to fund the purchase of the latest version. The CR 1/32nd Nautilus has been through three revisions now, so that means there is a bit of choice.

You won't get a 1/32 nautilus for $500 though, not unless you're willing to roll up your sleeves and scratchbuild it.

Personally I think 1/48th is the ideal scale. Large enough to get your hands on it, small enough to easily transport.

But you might consider trading the wife eh? Well, Rickl, it was nice knowing you!
I just hope your wife never sees this post otherwise my only suggestion to you is, don't pull the scissors out of your chest, leave them in there and quietly get to the hospital.

She knows I would not trade her for a boat kit.........
Two Kits ?..........would be tempting. :D

I could sell one, and make enough profit to import a young Russian bride. :)
Now, is that what you mean by Barter, David?

What an alarming direction this thread has taken.

Not touching that with a ten-foot pole.

                        David,
WHAT! Does that mean I can't have the Nautilus-kit and the young Russian-bride ???
I was only trying to follow your example, by Bartering!

Hey, the thread does have Russian in the Title! :D LOL :D
