    Looks like the tug was stabbed by the SSBN's starboard vertical stabilizer. Tug was the 'burdened' vessel here. Tugs (non-ocean going types) have poor compartmentation, so when the engine room takes on more water than can be pumped, you're ****ed.

        Like how you hear "there goes the mail". FMD!! Yeah I understand how mail would be of paramount importance to a Submariner, but with sailors in the water and a boat down, priorities???
