    Testing the Walter V80

Today i did some tests with the Walterboat to see if everything works fine underwater, the build in Wfly set works like a charm.

Thank you so much for sharing. I've learned a lot from following your thread. Good sound engineering and model building on display here.

    Keep up the good work.

What's next after Professor Walther's little 'fish'?

    David,

I have a soft spot for the type XXIII, so who nows, during this summertime i want to learn how the Walter will keep up the pace, she acts very different underwater compared to the surface.
For example she turns better underwater then above, turningradius is halve under compared to above.
The guys from Walter made a good hydrodynamic design, which surprised me a little, i´ve read some reports from the real trials and all the problems they encountered.

      Greetings Manfred.

Made today the durationtest, she can run for more than 2 hours on one battery charge, sticksetting at 3/4 power.

Due to the easy handling of this boat i could make the vid myself, enjoy.
