Starting a build of a Trumpeter Seawolf, Caswell WTC. Will be adorning with operational colors. Wondered if anyone ever addressed markings for the anechoic rubber layer? I know that it would be tiresome to complete and maybe not visible at 1/144 scale (which sounds like a good excuse not to do it).
Also, for pond use, would there be an advantage to putting a single layer of fine mesh plastic screen inside the model to keep "stuff" from entering the drain holes and fouling the wet movable parts? Yes, I have already thought about the screen door in a submarine joke....
