Looks like an ENGEL AKULA. The final painting scheme is really nice. And for the info I've gathered in other forums, she is a beaty sailing, perfomrs very good, and the whole system is bullet proof.

I must admit that I got a bit carried away with the "tropical algal bloom" coral green on this one. Put it down to all that stuff I did in the seventies! The top looks OK.

Its a very robust boat. Dry hull, depth keeping control system and HEAVY. Turns poorly (like all Akulas), so this one also has a bow thruster.

Once its packed into its wooden box it weighs around 12 Kg all up. It will cost around USD400.00 to get to you door to door within about a week.

God loves a trier! USD400.00 is the shipping cost. The boat is another UDS1000.00, so it's 1400 all up. Sorry for the confusion.

Offered as is, $400.00 plus shipping to a hell hole of your choice.
Now you are saying a $1,000 plus shipping of $400?
I can not afford squat so it makes no difference what you sell it for, just trying to get an understanding.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

even at 400+400shipping was a little too much for what I going have to do it to get it working. "Like I need another submarine" was what I heard from the Command Center's financial advisor. I should be stocking up on electriconic components, or just brake down and get a new SAS RTR and figgure out theSombra labs gizmo for my 75mhz to go in the Pearl Harbor boat.

Men. Calm down. The first post does indeed say $400 and ballast system not working. That post referred to the RPM Kilo which has now been sold. The $1000 refers to a complete, RTR, Engel Akula with twin piston tanks, working masts, TMax and TAES ballast control system which is all working just fine.
