Sombra Failsafe and ADF2 Failsafe conflict?

Kevin,My Sombra has already been programed using the Shadow programmer into a failsafe mode. If I set your ADF2 also to failsafe will there be a conflict?

    Hi Mark,

There will, but it may or may not be a shortcoming for you. If you turn on the failsafe function within the Sombra the ADF2 will never see a loss of signal even if there is one. The failsafe in the Sombra kicks in quite quickly compared to the ADF2, and it is a single-step function where the FS in ADF2 gives you the flexibility to command BLOW on stage 2, then back to neutral after several seconds (stage 3) so you don't overpressurize your bladder if you're running RCABS or completely dump your Propel if you're running gas. If you prefer a short (1 sec) time to FS activation and don't need the multi-step function when in failsafe then using the Sombra's failsafe is no loss. If you want the features above the only way to get them is to disable the failsafe in the Sombra and let the ADF2 carry the load. Also note that if you're using a LiPo Guard you'll still need to use the FS setup in the ADF2 to get the low-battery warning.
