Caswell Air Pump and the PSC

    Hello again,
I have the Caswell Air Pump and the Pump and Solenoid Controller (PSC) for the Revell Type VII sub driver V3 (RCABS).

I noticed that the Caswell Air Pump comes with a small capacitor already attached, do I need to remove this before installing the PSC?
Or do I just attach the PSC over it?

The stock small and large LPB (air-pump) should not have any cap's attached to the back-side of the motor can. Would you send me a photo please. Did you get this thing used or directly from Caswell?

Got it directly from Caswell, I'll take a picture of it when I get home from work.

        Here's a picture of it.
This is how I received it from Caswell, haven't altered it at all yet.

Having an extra cap won't hurt you, but it may get in the way of mounting the circuit card on the end of the motor can. If you can still install the PSC without interference then you may leave it on, otherwise pull it and let the caps on the PSC do the work.

I stand corrected. I lost sight of the fact that Caswell sells more than the two I use in my products. Kevin stepped in to save the day. And thanks for the picture, it cleared things up.

              Thanks for the help guys!
I think in this case I'll remove it as it made the PSC set poorly during test fitting.
