Revell 1;72 Type VIIC deck

David, I have 2 questions. The first, did you remove the deck reinforcing members that are moulded into the underside of the Type VIIC deck? The reinforcements look like they could trap a lot of air bubbles.

The second, how did you vent the deck so that air could escape? It looks af if the 12 small round circles on the deck could be bollards that could be raised or lowered. On some models I've noticed that short lengths of tubing have been installed. Could these be the vents?

Other than the 'lip' under which the deck sits, yes I removed all the under work.

And Yes, I opened up the bollard holes -- provides plenty of bubble-path when diving.
