Friends,
I have just installed a SNORT (small) in my Small World Model Blueback. I built a manifold out of Al tubing and epoxied it into the rear ballast section bulkhead. The spacing of the two Al tubes matches the spacing of the inlet/outlet on the SNORT pump. I used the supplied black tubing which was a bit of a pain to install.
But now I'm thinking I could have used shrink wrap and installed the pump right against the manifold on the bulkhead. The inlet/outlet of the pump would butt up directly against the AL tubing manifold and the shrink wrap would be used only to hold the pump in place.
Whatta ya think?
