    Joining hull halves

Can any of you old and bold boat makers impart some of your ideas of how you join the two hull halves of your boats together please. So that you can remove the upper hull half (the casing) when needed to get at the workings.
I have some idea but I just think my threaded bolt with a nut and bolt top and bottom will look naff (only joking!!)

        David,
David, taking your advice and having looked at the parts you recommended I look at, I continued to look and read up on the other sections of your GATO build. Wow, I'm impressed. You can be truly proud! What a magnificent build. I was in awe of your prop design and manufacture and the design you came up for turning the fore planes in and out. I'll stop asking dopey questions and spend more time thinking about solving my own problems, cheers Dave, just one thing, can't find part 6 !!
        bon chance Fred
