    Seawolf fittings kit goes where

Not wondering which end I'm not the clueless :)

But how far back should the elevator and rudder shaft holes be in the hull from the end (or from the tiny existing holes)? I read somewhere that the Trumpeter locations weren't exactly right - anyone know?

Also does the pumpjet just go directly on the end of the hull, or should some amount of hull be removed first?

    Thanks

Punch holes into the hulls stern to pass the fittings kit supplied stern plane and rudder operating shafts so that the trailing edge of the fittings kit stern planes and rudders fall along the same plane as the original kit stern planes and rudder.

Remove just enough of the stern to get the resin piece (which has attached to it the forward pump-jet duct half) to fit at the correct diameter along the sterns tapering length -- measure the diameter of the forward end of the resin piece with a caliper, then find that diameter point on the stern, and lop off any stern aft of that point.
