new SAS user wanabee ... but problem with my order ?

    Hello all,
since i was a child (long time agoo ..) I always wanted to become a submarine player. A first attempt 20 years ago showed me the amount of problems that yet needed to be solved. Now that i've stumbled upon the SAS kit, i know that the target has come a little bit closer. So I've ordered a Type VII SAS kit after some reflection.

But unfortunately, despite succeeding to order from the website (order confirmed), I had absolutely no contact from the company despite a few contact attempts by mail :-(

Would an administrator be able to inquire in case there would be any problem with my order ?

Thanks a lot and really willing to have the pleasure of achieving a child dream ... even after more than 30 years.

Aha, that also happened to me. I ordered the dynamic Easy sub-driver and it took about 6 months to get. I did contact via phone the company, I called the Caswell operator and she was very nice and knowledgeable on the matter. I would say that you are backordered and you are in line to get it after they test the parts to make sure they work before sending to you and other customers. You are just going to have to build an airplane model in between.

I'm the hang-up here -- production has slowed to a hault while me knee was getting fixed. I should be back up to full speed in the shop very soon, and will get those SD's to Caswell shortly.

Thanks a lot for the answer !
I was a little surprised not to have received any information since my order, as people seemed kind and professionnal on the forum and web site. I now know that things are going on, but I just need to wait a little. My sub will only be better then !

He Who Shall Not Be Named, take care of your knee, these parts are known to be quite difficult to restore so take the time you need. I'm not in a hurry and wish you a quick recovery !

Thank you for understanding, Jean-Philippe. I'm quickly recovering, things are working out fine with the knee and I should be back up to full speed in the shop by this time next week. Your patience is most appreciated, sir.

Great news David! Glad you are healing quickly!
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.
