I am going to attempt to put together the electronics to operate two sub drivers that I stole from Mike. (I still owe him an Eye patch) I plan on using them in several different boats, of different scales. I aquired a 3.5 twin motor twin screw and a 2.5 single motor twin screw. Since the scales range from 1:72 up to 1:24, I will utilise the small one for the 1:72 type IX and a 1:48 type VII, The 3.5 will go in a 1:32 typeVII and a 1:24 type II. With the advice of HNSNBM himself," KISS " I will just use the 2.5 as is and make it a simple EZ driver, The larger one Im going to attempt to overcome a few obsticles. Salt water operation is one that I have to deal with. Ive been told, I can't do somethings in salt water, by a bunch of real experienced people. Everything from corrosion, to water density, depth, hostile eviornment, ect. The thing is, Neptune is my daddy! I may be able to negotiate with him. I will start with deciding on which transmitter, reciever configguration to use. and what components such as switches, pumps. servos, pushrods and seals, ect, that I will be needing. If Mike fed the sled dogs, they should be arriving in the next few days, and then I will take inventory of what the components will be. To start with, I plan on using the same Radio gear. I guess the WFLY8s are like hen's teeth so thats not a simple option. so thats one of the factors in Daves recomendation. Im not sure the other S stands for Stupid tho, I think he means "Sailor" ** With that being said, Im open to suggestions as to the transmitter and mHz that I will need to operate the two systems, dynamic and static, in my enviornment, with one transmitter and multiple recievers.

Hi Von,
I do not think you should have any problemn with the TX and RX in your submarines. Since it can store different submarines accordinly to the memory, up to 12 submarines can be stored in the TX (your WFLY8). So label memory 1 as Type VII and then label memeory 2 as type II, make sure your 8 channels for the idividual memory are set correctly for that particular submarine, upto 12. You must also have one RX for each submarine or whatever you are going to control with your TX, if not then youll have to remove the RX from one submarine to another and then reset the channels for that submarine.
Essentially this is what is done in the world of highspeed aircraft flying where one transmitter will control 12 airplanes of different types.
