Fixing my Hull after a Dumb*** mistake.

    Dave,

I have a Thor Design 688 flight III that when I first got it needed very little in the way of hull alignment. I had duty one Sunday last fall and was working on it on the Goat locker table (The benefits of being the Duty Chief!) When I took my 3 am tour, I dropped it off in my car, (didn't want the COB chastising me the next day) and lo and behold, Murphy stepped in and made it un-seasonably hot for October in Groton. The hull heated up in my car and the top warped wider than the lower. I was reading the advice you gave Peter W in his thread on the Scale Ship's Akula II. Will that same method work good for my case too? Some people have suggested that I over compress the sides and then heat. This is a nice model and other than this I am ready to paint and weather. Now that I am retiring from active duty I have a small amount of extra time to build with. LOL 23 years of missed honey do's........
