GRP indexing tabs - how to make?

All,

I am in need of some indexing tabs to keep two hulls pieces reasonably aligned.

Question: How do I obtain these tabs?

1) Make them from raw fiberglass?

2) Buy G10/FR4 sheets and cut them up? If so, what do you use to cut them?

3) Is there a source for tabs already existing?

My local TAP Plastics store sells 1" wide FG tape. I laid out on wax paper strips long enough for the tabs and epoxied the tapes. When they had cured I set them in place with clothes pins, CA'd them, then brushed on epoxy when after removing the pins. Hope this helps.
