    Sorry about the delay here.

    It's orange-red-brown, by the way

The three wire plug from the ESC plugs into the channel-3 port of the receiver. Brown into the negative side of the receiver plug.

    David,
    Who is John Galt?

        David,
Just refresh our memories on what these wires do please. Red, white & Black are the same as ? Is the brown wire the same as black? And what does each one do?
Stop messing about - just get a Sub-driver!

The three wires, be they from a servo, electronic switch, or ESC:

          Black/brown -- negative 4.8-5volt/ground
White -- signal (the pulse train from the receiver assigned to that specific device)
          Red/Orange -- positive 4.8-5volt
          Who is John Galt?
