    Servo chattering

I hooked up all my electrics on my 2.5" WTC. When turned on, the ballast servo chatters and won't repsond to the stick control. Its hooked up through BLM. During testing without the BLM, it still chattered. Any suggestions?????

    Thanks

    "... testing without the BLM".

Be specific on your testing protocol, Farlan. Different receiver? Servo-setter? How did you specifically test the servo?

check TX that end points or travel is not set to 0, not that I have EVER done that.
if you plug the servo in another channel does it work? Does the chatter follow the servo?
if it works on another channel plug another servo into the ballast channel. Does it work?

If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

I connected it directly to the receiver and it chattered. I then connected it through my BLM. Same issue.....

It may have chattered, but did it respond to commands?
Chatter canbe cleaned up with a ferrite ring in many cases, what we are trying to do is get down to is, is it the server something else.

Sounds like the feed-back pot on that servo has gone sour. Replace the servo.
