In doing a routine search for new Suffern class photos, several articles erroneously used 214 subs in articles purporting to be the Suffern class. Here i one. . The 214 in the transport dock is probably a Turkish, Greek, South Korean, Portuguese Navy 214. Good photo of the propellor vortex wake defuser from rear. The black color of prop is interesting. Carbon composites? Such materials would absorb certain tonal frequencies and any ringing from a bronze casting. Also, lighter. I wonder?
