  • HNLMS Tonijn

A few walkaround photo's of HNLMS Tonijn I took a couple of years back during a visit to the Dutch Naval Museum at Den Helder, Netherlands. This is a preserved example of the Dutch Potvis class submarine, which has three parallel pressure hulls (upper one for crew and main equipment), lower two for engines and batteries

2nd and 3rd posting do not show the images. Is it just me?
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Maybe I included too many images in the 2nd and third posts - Is there a limit on the number of images per post? If so I can try reposting with few images.

The second and third posts show the stern and bow areas.
