With such a confluence of design evolution for quiet operation and hydrodynamic shapes, to the optimum shape due to mathematics, a sail shape is about all that's left to distinguish a Russian, French, American, Chinese British SSBN.

It would be interesting to learn how they did their target studies & arrived at only requiring just 12 D5 Tridents necessary for Britain's Nuclear deterrent. I'm sure it's quite sufficient. Such a study is highly classified.

The Vanguards have 16, the Ohio's 24., The Le Triomphant class 16, and 16 in the future newly named L'Invincible class French SSBNs.. The French sub names not to be confused with the Singapore Navy's Type 218SG submarines also Invincible class.

The Astute class seems they are in for maintenance and some upgrades and have then them all in port at the same time. Part is the Maintenense ship support infrastructure and limited nuclear certified docks. The United States has similar issues.

There is a risk to this with all down for repairs. HMS Agamemnon, the sixth in class is now concluding sea trails and expected t be fully operational in spring of 2027. If the repairs can be made all at once, then Russia can face the whole class if nothing happens between then and now instead of a usual recycling but?.

Last year, the final hull of the Astute class expected to be originally named HMS Agincourt—becoming the sixth warship named for the famed battle fought by King Henry V’s forces during the Hundred Years War will be named instead. HMS Achilles, after the Greek hero of the Trojan War. The change so as not to upset France, which lost the famed 1415 battle. Probably a smart move reflecting certain nicety's

Since France now has a larger Navy than the UK, (and UK with more Admirals than ships) and France is the largest maritime power now in NATO, so perhaps it is time to drop reminders of old differences perhaps. lol.
