    QuickWood Bonds?

Will Quickwood epoxy bond well to Fiberglass-resin and Styrene-Plastic?
I assume it will, since it bonds to metal, but thought I should ask before trying it.

Quickwood is a mercaptan hardening epoxy, meaning it sets quickly.
It is a stiff putty which will bond to any roughened surface. It can be smoothed off with water but I prefer a bit of spit! Working life 4-5 minutes, Full cure 30 minutes at 70f.
Stop messing about - just get a Sub-driver!

Hey! This sounds like a very good sculpting medium. You carry this stuff, or something like it, Mike?

      David,
      Who is John Galt?

I went ahead and ordered 4 different 'Flavors' of the Epoxy sticks. :D
I don't know if there's much difference in them but thought I would experiment to determine which is best to use on FG-resin. I'm thinking the Aquamend may be the best for fiberglass, if there is really any difference in the formula, other than the color? ;)
I can tell already that I'm gonna need a Lot of it for this project.

I got 3 of the 4 epoxy sticks today, 1 on backorder.
But all of them fell out of their tubes during shipping (poorly packaged), so I have no way of telling which one is which.
So looks like I Won't be doing an accurate comparison test, to determine which is best for fiberglass. Guess I'll just shut my eyes and pull one, to try.
I think the shipping department is running low on boxes and packing or something? Censored

            David,
I also ordered some 'push-rod-seals', 1/16"size, but they were backordered also.
Do you know when those will be available? Do you make those?
I'm not trying to rush anyone, I just need to know how long the delay will be, if possible? I called the office and they could not tell me.

Yeah, I'm late with the 1/16" pushrod seals to Caswell. However, I have 1/16"
pushrod seals with a 1/4" body diameter -- if you can use those send me your mailing address and I'll blast you some right away from here. How many you need?

You've been patient about this, no sweat. Get back to me and we'll fix you up.

I found that there ARE differences in the different Epoxy-stick prodouts. I've tried 2 of them (AquaMend and RepairItQuik).
AquaMend is finer texture than the RepairItQuik, and works better for very Small jobs.
RepairItQuik hardens much faster, It's for jobs that can be molded much quicker.
AquaMend has a long work time.
I think any of them will adhear to any dry surface tho.
The Quickwood is still on backorder.
