    4-i have been into rc subs since 1991
    (thanks to Daves article on his acula in SSM)

    13. ​Small Bio: I served in the United States Navy from 2008-2018 as an Electronics Technician, I was stationed on USS Ramage. USS Ramage(as the crew called her Mr. Sausage) got her name sake from Admiral Lawson "Red" Ramage. He commanded USS Trout, and USS Parche during WWII. My dad served on Nuclear Fast Attack Submarines for the USN also. We still jest at each other since I was a surface sailor. After getting Honorably Discharged, I joined my dad at Big River Steel in Arkansas. I work as Electrical & Automation Engineer for our companies steel welding machines. Its pretty cool I get to work with Lasers.

    Welcome aboard Zach. I hope you can dive in and get your feet wet soon. Try to start simply and build your skills and understanding. I recently completed one of Bob Martin's 212 dynamic divers and it runs really good in my pool. Easy to build and solid performance. It will be a viable contender in the sub races at Subfest this year. A very fun little boat.
