Is there a Wiki file for this one She's sleek, fast too! Some boats are just beautiful, except if they're nukes, then I think they suck! (Floating hotels with no style!) Damn - I've just started a war!

One of the tween-the-wars V boats, dressed up for WW-2 duty.

      David,
      Who is John Galt?

He's no fisherman folks! Barracuda is salt-water - but he's getting closer!

                David,
Awwwh! Get mommy to wipe your nose too! Cry Baby!

Now for you serious 'sub-spotters' - it is USS BASS (freshwater fisherman's favorite)
                See it on Wikipedia here

                I love the anchor position!

At 341.5' long this makes a 59" long model in 1:72 scale - very interesting. Anyone have any plans of more details?

Dave was right to some respects. It is a V-1 (Barracudda class).

I've got an excellent set of plans from a guy who worked off the BuShips drawings -- he's long gone and his name escapes me, but I met him in he mid-70's while he was researching another boat at the Submarine Force Library and Museum.

I know, but he's supposed to be perfect and it was The Bass, a Barracuda class so he was only half right. Anyhow. looks like he's stopped sniveling and has come back to play!

                        David,

Got a scan of the plans David. I'd love to see them.
