      Definately not a K but, could be HMS Oberon originally designated O-1

          Well, it certainly isnt a K class and for a L the periscope sheers are too low. I have this photograph and by the look of it the name of the boat has been censored, and it has been named correctly by Scarecrow 7087 as being HMS/m Oberon leaving Portsmouth Harbour. In fact you can see the masts of Victory in the back ground.
