They've Put The Plug in the Canal

It's filling up quickly! The Erie Canal is almost back in business after a L O N G winter. My live webcam records a 24 hour feed of the proceedings, so today is a good time to see the difference.
The Wizard has refurbished my HMS Sibyl Sub-driver, so I hope to be able to run it next week.

Actually it's an old party barge. The carpeting is shot, but the seats, motor and pontoons are good. I only paid $2800 for it, and I reckon I can put a new deck and carpet on it for $500, so it was still a good deal. So much so, the missus said I should keep the bass boat as its better for fishing. Isn't she lovely!
