To All,
Up to now I've been very frustrated in not being able to post pictures inline with other text. I was only able to post them as a group of attachments at the end and separated from my text. Well, no longer. Here's the fix:
1) Sign on - this will not work if you're a visitor/guest.
2) Look at the horizontal list of pull-down menus across the top of the page just underneath the Forum-What's New line.
3) Go to the Forum Actions pull-down menu and select it. One of the choices should be General Settings.
4) Select General Settings. At the bottom of this page is a section called "Miscellaneous Options".
5) In "Misc. Options" - Message Editor Interface you are given a choice of which editor you want to use. You must select Enhanced Interface - full WYSIWYG Editing.
6) Down below that you'll see a subsection called Enhanced Attachment Uploading. Make sure that this is turned ON.
7) Last step - Down in the lower right of this page you'll see the Save Changes button - click on it.
8) You should be good to go.
Some notes:
1) When creating or answering a post you must always choose the Advanced option. This is not available in "quick reply".
2) The Insert Image icon looks (sort of) like a picture. Moving your cursor over the icons will tell you which icon is which.
3) Unfortunately, the attachement editor does not understand "white space". "White space" is what you get when you move the cursor with the SPACEBAR or the TAB key. If you must move a picture to the right you must use a printable character, for example periods (dots) or dashes.
4) Otherwise, treat your image just like any other block of text when moving it about your page.
If this doesn't work for you or I've not made the instruction clear to you, please reply and I'll try to help.
