    Features on balance lipo charger

To support the Helicopters Lipo batteries I bought a balance charger. David Merriman has told me that a balance charger is not required for Submarines because we are not looking for absolute power and running time. But the thing I like about the new charger (Thunder AC6) is that I can set the rate of charge I want. I can charge them at a safe slow low rate. I can set the time duration I want the charge. I can see the condition of the battery should there be a dead or damaged cell. Most important is that when It's fully charged (Reaches the max mAh I set) an alarm will sound.
Most the time when I'm charging the Lipo batteries I'm playing submarine on the computer, building something or doing maintenance on my toys. I always lose track of time and forget to monitor the charge light on the wall charger. I've heard Lipo's can be a little touchy about not being monitored. The slow charge rate I can set and alarm puts me at ease.
Just thought I'd mention it to the sub world.
