    Anti-Stick Coating

    Dear List:

Is there any kind of coating that can be applied to brass parts to keep CA or epoxy glues from sticking to them? Preferrably something that dries, so the coating won't get on the parts I do want the glue to stick to.

    Thanks.

Thank you, oh great one. Where does one buy PVA in small quantities?

Any local outfit that sells GRP fabrication raw goods (glass fiber, resin, mold release agents). PVA is one part of the classic two-part mold release system used to keep GRP layups from sticking to the molds surface.

Marina's are one place that might stock these items. Also, automotive refinishing supply houses might have it.

Or you can use grease or wax on the part to keep the CA from sticking.

Thanks again. I'll hunt down the PVA.
