    Dremel moto tools

Two years ago I bought a Dremel 4000. I started having trouble with it about four months ago. Reluctantly I called Dremel. She said "NO PROBLEM". Box it up and send it to us.
Then I said........I dont have the sales receipt. SHE said "NO PROBLEM". Our tools have a three year warranty. We can tell how old it is. Even if its out of warranty, we will fix it and the cost will be way below what you would pay for a new one.
This is not the first time. Not only did they repair mine but they sent a new attachment for it for me to try out. Also I stripped out a 90 degree drive, and admittedly I punish these things. "No Problem" and they sent me a new one.....NO Questions asked.
Presently I own five Dremel products: two moto tools, the multi-cut and a saw and a 28 year old speed control. Handy they are.

That is a great endorsement. Makes me think twice about buying another brand.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

I've been using their product for over forty years. I have many of the Dremel moto-tools in the shop and and every conceivable bitt that has a 1/8" diameter shank.

I've sent broken Dremel units in for repair to their factory and my experiences has always been a very, very good one. Dremel IS THE BEST! As Mark pointed out, their customer service is friendly and promt. Always!

To the left in this picture you see five Moto-tools hanging off the bench -- there are three more scattered around in the shop, along with three bit caddies.

      Dremel is the best!

I have bought "Sears" brand moto tools before because everyone thinks that Sears has a free exchange tool service. Well that tool exchange only applies to hand tools . Not power tools and not taps or dies or drill bits or anything else. Although the Sears moto tool is undoubtedly made by Dremel, it only has a 90 day warranty.

I sware by em as well. With all the metal cutting and grinding I do, they last me about a year, but I send them back and now after about 15 years of doing business with thwm I have managed to aquire two more motors than I bought. Dont know how it happened but it sure is convient. Wish my little air compressor was like that. Whenever it breaks I have to search for the Chinaman that made it to fix it. At least there reasonably inexpensive
