Subdriver for the Type 23 - some dimension questions

    David and others,
I have a small submarine project on the drawing board, was wondering about the SAS subdriver used in the Bronco 23 as the sub I'm planning on doing could possible make use of the Subdriver in the Bronco 23.

So dimensions for Subdiver for the Type 23 please:
    OD
    Length of BT
    Apx volume of BT
    OAL of SD

    Thanks

John, i've got the long version for my XXIII,

    OD, 62 mm
    lenght of BT, 157 mm
volume of BT, aprox 400 ml, or 14 ounces
OAL of SD including bulkheads, 517 mm

Don't know the overall lenght of the short one, David mentioned that only the battery compartment is smaller, length of mine is, 150 mm.

        Outside Diameter -- 2.5"
Length of Ballast Tank -- 6"
Volume of Ballast Tank (expressed as weight of fresh water) -- 14 ounces
        Length Overall of Sub-driver -- 20.25"

BTW, this is the same unit sold as our generic or 'standard' 2.5, single-shaft SD: http://www.sub-driver.com/sub-driver...model-kit.html

          David,

If i remember right, your XXIII SD is shorter as the one you send me, which is a standard 2,5" SD, maybe it's wise to give the lenght of your modified SD to John, so he can decide which one will be suited for his planned project.

            Manfred.
            Good idea, Manfred.

John, here's the dope on the 'torpedo shooting' version of the 2.5", single-shaft SD:

Length of Ballast Tank -- 4.5"
Volume of Ballast Tank -- 10 ounces of fresh water
            Length overall of Sub-driver -- 17.25"
