I have accumulated a few pictures on this interesting submarine. There are some pictures of it on Display as a museum piece as well. Follow the link to a website for more specifics. Sorry, some of the pictures are small. Cant have everything. Must have had small cameras back then.:biggrin:

The following picture is interesting. They said that the helicopter in this picture is actually towing the disabled submarine.

Notice these two pictures. The first one is the sonar from the U3. The second one was supplied by Manfred of, I believe, U995 with its unusual sonar. They look very similar. Copycats!
