Do ya need ta finish the model by end of Comp?? And does it need to be a freshly started project....both my 1/72 CGN's are ongoing underconstruction jobbies..... looking at getting a mostly finished 1/72 Permit class SSN off a mate to add to my USN nuke fleet.

thought about multiple entries but I think just one would take total focus and be much more productive. I have 6 boats on the table right now and its hard to manage the time as to which one gets the attention, just for liesure time fun. A competition build, on a time basis, will inject the big "S" factor and all other projects get the bump, cept for the A boat. Not to mention the "Yard work & 2 dues" Ma aint gonna like dis. Just a thought, but I dont suppose theres a chance that somebody, may know somebody, at Revell that might be able to finagle a few 505 kits on an earley release, for T&E by a certain plating company's "select engineers". That would be the select guys that want to put down that hundred bucks or so for kit to use for an entry in the "U Boat" class, or 1/72 class or whatever. I'm working on a second sub. Almost done, all the mechanics now more or less work. It even has differential drive on the two props in the 2" SD driver! Only left is building up of "model" part...conning tower, gun, paint, weathering. A chance it will be done by December, but maybe final test tank not.
Six subs on the workbench...wow maybe you need to get some time away from it all and get yourself a hobby... :)Comment

I didnt mention those 6 boats have been WIPs for some time, and that Im retired. Some for as long as 2& 3 years. They got on the bench and I quit working in my 1/48 Fletcher tin can. I started that 13 years ago. No hurries mon, I live in the Keys. Its lobster season, Ill get started tomorrow, right after my breakfast margurita/colada. I think you might have a good idea about maby 2 entries, one already running. I may take a finished display boat and chop it open and fab up new running gear, or get a small running gear set for a revell 1/72 boat that I have laying arround. I will however, scratch build something in a larger scale, If its finished by December, will have to be seen. Hobby??? Hobby??? Wha.. Wha... Whut?? How much do they co$t?Comment
