    New APC/ADF

Hello all. I am going to do some work on my old 32 parallel type 23 and I need to replace my old Subtech APC-3( it was left at the cottage and it my have gotten a bit to cold so it does not work well). Any ideas on what is best for an older system that is using DandE wtc-3 with 7.2 volt RC car battery and Traxxas xl-1 speed control. Maybe I need to replace the speed control and batt as well?? Any ideas would be great to tide me over until I have the cash and time to do up the Bronco type 23 with all the bells and whistles. Thanks Dave G

It's powered off the receiver bus -- 4.5-volts. No sweat.

Wouldn't bother upgrading the ESC unless it is defective in some way. Batteries have come on a long way in recent years, and you'll get much longer running time if you upgrade to something like a Lipo pack of similar size and weight to your Nicad pack. Make sure you have a lipo guard though.
