Using the features of the site

Mike,

I know that this is not the right place to put this but I don't know where else to put it.

Can someone explain to me how to put pictures inline in my posts, with captions, etc.? Lots of people seem to know how to do this, but I don't and I would like to be able to include pictures with my messages. As everybody knows, pictures greatly enhance what you're trying to say and they make it much easier to explain things.

Anyway, if there is an explanation somewhere on the site, I haven't been able to find it. I imagine that there are others that would find this information useful.

I use imageshack. I have them saved to a file on my computer. I choose them with imageshack and then copy and paste to the post.

How did you guys get a custom avatar up on your profiles? All I can choose is pre-defined or generic avatars, like that silly grinning cartoon sub!

I think Moderators are the only ones allowed custom avatars on this website. Mine came from the military selections. I guess they didn't want any of our Radical-Smut pictures. :D
