I started with one of these and was driven by ambition to make it a static diver, and lo, after all the banging, soldering, drilling and pondering, it was thus. And a complete pain in the arse to drive. I've recently put the huge (and heavy) Robbe lead / tin battery back into it, removed the static stuff and taken it back to the wonderful dynamic diver that it used to be. NOW its fun again!
