    1/230 Skipjack fittings kit question

Included in the very nicely done fittings kit is a rather sizeable drawing of the Skipjack, with all exterior things nicely numbered! However, would anyone happen to have the part that describes all of the numbered areas??

Would like to know exactly where to put ballast blow holes and such.

Anyones assistance will be greatly appreciated!

Also, "Bravo" on the fittings kit, Mr. Merriman! Extremely well done!! And yes, you are, indeed a God!!
( Hah!! Made some points there,eh!!) Flattery may well get me some needed info, if nuthin' else!!

Keep on keepin' on, Brother David!!

The drawing was used with permission of Deep Sea Designs. However, the legend that associates nomenclature with numbers is not available. You got a specific question, I'll answer as best I can.

    I am indeed a God.

I'm primarily interested in knowing where to vent the hull for the purpose of flooding as well as blowing ballast out.

Many thanks, as usual, for your valued assistance!

Since there is no room in the thing for a ballast sub-system, there is no need to go to any lengths to open up topside vents nor bottom flood-drain holes. You hold the thing underwater till the hull floods -- proper submerged trim has 1/4" of sail sticking out of the water and the boat at rest on an even keel. That's it. No surface trim.

Go forth and make the pool safe for demacracy.

Scribe and otherwise mark the hull to represent vents, line lockers, safety track, and what-nots. That's all.

Move on ... nothing to see here!
