    Waterproof Lights

    Hi gang
    :p

I am so looking forward to my Seaview.
I believe that Mr Merriman has lights on his Moebius Seaview.
Is that correct? If so how does one water-proof their lights?

With Plasti-Dip one can make their light system water-proof, correct?

    Thanks

For Internal areas, not exposed to view, you can use RTV silicone rubber (room temperature vulcanizing). It comes in tubes like toothpaste, in clear and some colors.
It adhears to most surfaces but can be removed if necessary, and would be better seal than Plasti-dip type coating.

FWIW, I've used LEDs for navigation lights and I've never found a need to do anything to waterproof them- Cover your solder joints with heatshrink and leave the works out in the wet.
