    Was shown at iHobby

It supposedly is & was shown several months earlier at iHobby, although in typical Arkmodel fashion wasn't complete.

Mike may have more details on it since he's now carrying the line.

Be nice to see if the line is something we can count on. They have nice models but I've always been put off by the big delays I have heard people experience about products that are sold to them as "in production" and / or "available".
I do like the look of their little German fast patrol craft in 1/72, and the Kilo.

Chuck do you know anything about the kilo itself - hull separation etc?

      Thanks

Who knows since its Feng but I'd ask Mike to follow up for you.

Regarding the hull, I would presume its bayonet like his earlier Song & other "recent" kits. Here's a photo of CMPANG's Song broken down for reference.

Just noticed this video of the 1/72 Kilo...one thing I want to avoid is that God awful rudder extension:

            in JAMSTEC pool 2010.08.08 http://directorzone.cyberlink.com/video/43478

Tough model to get right, no upper rudder for submerged bite in the water, weight distribution and keeping weight to minimum will be key.

                  Agree.

I have to ask about all those holes & grates he has so carefully drilled. To me they seem to small to vent any air but rather trap little air bubbles which would make trimming it a tad awkward, yes? Or would the overall weight & ballast negate that problem. But it is a nice looking model.
                  Cheers,
                  Alec.
