OT: China - The Master Copycats

Ruh Roh! Look what China unveiled today.

Earlier, Hong Kong media reported that the "boom-8 stealth" aircraft project developed in China, its indicator performance as close as possible to the U.S. B-2 bomber, when necessary, the Mach 1.2 supersonic penetration carry new stealth cruise missiles capable of striking North America, the voyage of not less than 10,000 km, with aerial refueling capability, the first generation of domestic stealth strategic bombers.

      Who knows...

I will have to say yesterday's bold flyover over the disputed Diaoyu / Senkaku Islands by China wasn't a gag. It was timed perfectly to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the Nanking Massacre.

The Chinese plane had already left the islands – known as Diaoyu in China and Senkaku in Japan – by the time the Japanese F-15s arrived.

      Stay tuned!

Well, if any people have a legitimate ***** with the Japanese, it's the Chinese!

But .... it's time to de-link the sins of the Father from the son.

Agreed before someone trips up & this escalates into something nobody wants to see. With the right gaining popularity again in Japan leading up to this weekend's election coupled with Xi Jinping's bold statement this week about boosting of China's military readiness & it will to fight for these rocks, it ain't looking good.

Everyone thinks since China has just about gone Capitalist, that they are no longer a threat. Yea right. China is building the largest military in the history of man while we shrink ours. We worry about North Korea and that ****ant Iran and China is overlooked because all of a sudden they have become "civilized". One day we will wake up but it will be too late.

... and two months after our ambassador and others were assassinated (as the six-hour drama played out, the President and other leaders watched it happen, real time, as they sat there -- I wonder if popcorn was served, as they enjoyed the show), we can't even get the Sec. of State to testify as to the state of her embassy security policy that lead to the break-in and murders.

The US of A is, today, correctly, looked on by both allies and enemies as a PC, vacillating, cowardly puss!

Banging that FAUX drum a bit hard today, eh? He's on his favorite

Getting back to China, they are simply exercising their rights to build up their military strength commensurate with their position in the world. I'm not too concerned about them wanting to take over the Far East but we will see some bullying as they demand their neighbors to agree to their territorial claims.

China will find out like Japan did in the 80's that you can't buy the world. Their balloon will bust too.

For our sake lets hope that balloon doesn't burst anytime soon lest we all suffer the fallout.

The NYT offers the best analysis I've seen on the island dispute. Its something you'll want to follow.
