Norwegian ula class

The Ula class submarine is a composite of parts and assemblies from Norway, France and Germany. Final assm. took place in Germany. There are six of them and they are the only subs in service with Norway. All their subs are named after Norwegian cities except the subject of our pictures. That one is the S-305 Uredd which is translated "Unafraid". They participate often in NATO exercises. Since they are small and very quiet, its good training for all participants.
