    Moments before pearl harbor

    The first picture is of the Battleship Nevada and of Pearl Harbor, moments before the Japanese struck. The second picture is of the California. What does these pictures of "Targets" have to do with anything? Well the next picture is of Torpedo damage done to the California on that morning. The Japanese torpedoes are considered the most powerful of WW2. The torpedo used here was apparently not their more capable "Long Lance". The remains of the air flask from the torpedo can be seen in the opening.Click image for larger version
