Out of the box and compared against one another each has their plusses and minuses. The absolute advantage of the WFT-08 though is that all its "shortcomings" can be addressed if/when desired by the user where the Tracker cannot. The Tracker wins over the WFT-08 in that it comes with a NiCd battery pack and has a frequency synthesized transmitter setup. The WFT-08 wins over the Tracker with it's programming flexibility and switch assignability, and you can always add a NiCd/NiMh battery pack and a HiTec Spectra synthesized transmitter module anytime you choose. Hands-down win for the WFT-08.
