Plumbing is in YAY! I think this confirms that I abandoned my parachute when I jumped the rabbit hole!

On to the next learning curve LOL: putting DMA (David Merriman Advice) into practice. So far I have learned two things 1) Everything the crusty curmudgeon says is correct and 2) everything he so kindly demonstrates through videos and photos and postings Is way more difficult when you try it for yourself. He makes it look so so easy! I say this as I work on making a nice seam between the top and bottom hulls of my Virginia class 1/72 sub LOL LOL!

      Stop blubbering.

What, specifically, is the problem with the seam(s)? Not in alignment, or too much of a gap? Or... God help you... both! Spill the beans, Tim, and I'll give you a steer or two.

If it were easy all you bums would be doing this **** without incident.

Crawl, stumble, walk, jog, run, sprint. In that order, guys. That's the only way you're all going to achieve my level of Magnificence!

Yeah yeah yeah. Blubber blubber LOL.
Thank you for asking about specific problems Dave. Actually I have no specific problem - it’s just the normal part of learning something for the first time. For example, after my first gap filling attempt, which was successful, I decided I wanted the Evercoat to penetrate a little bit more into the gap. Necessary or not, it’s just a preference. So I will add a small lip and redo. Of course the first time you do something it will be much slower than a professional model maker who has done it for decades. And then we each have our own somewhat personalized approaches. I feel it’s coming along well!
