Juts found this little gem...not sure if it is old news, but I love it:
Plans of old US Submarines....Pig Boats

The drawings are very useful, the D and N classes and especially the large V class 'cruiser' subs, Argonaut mine layer and Narwhal and Nautilus (ss-168) are good finds.
Glaringly absent is anything on the War subs from the First World war of the L-class (5th subdivision in Ireland L class - the EB built ones only) where the US NAVY learned and established so many of its operational procedures on. Also, the L's were the first American subs with bow tube shutters (first able to fire a full 4 tube spread) and a retractable 3" deck gun. and importantly retractable lowering periscopes. But I am sure they are aware and perhaps are work on those too.
Loaded on model pond with WW2 Fleet boats which are so beautiful and greatest of all WW2 subs of any service in my opinion, but those boats just didn't appear or happen they're were the AL-boats hunting the Kaisers subs around Ireland before them that the public should also give note of.
I have a lot gathered on the AL-boats if they need anything.
It's one on my 'to build' list before they plant me. How are te L STL drawings coming Randy? Sorry I guess you can tell have another hard on now for AL- boats too. lol.
