The Big Beautiful Bill has passed both the House and the Senate with Sec. 111104 still included and is headed to President Trump's desk to be signed - which means the threshold for federal 1099-K reporting will be raised back up to $20,000 and 200 items for tax year 2025 and beyond. So if you sell stuff on PayPal, don’t worry about the $600 threshold before you get a notice from the IRS. That garbage is now gone.
