    Mike,
Is the Sibyl the boat you modeled?
I noticed that you have her witch badge-crest as your avatar-picture.
Does she have a personal interest or just Interesting?

Sibyl is the boat my dad was Chief Petty Officer on. His patrol sank 16 Japanese ships, got strafed with aircraft fire and depth charged for her troubles. Yes, I guess I'm interested in Sibyl! I've actually been on board her in Malta. I was about 4 years old.

Dad took me into the 'control room' where there was a swivel stool and a lot of green lights and 'stuff'. The captain called him on the intercom and he had to go upstairs. I was told not to touch anything, especially the red button.

Of course I touched it, lots of times and nothing happened, so I kept on pressing. Unfortunately, it was the klaxon and it sounded off across Valletta harbour, and I'm sure most of Malta thought the Germans were bombing them again! I seem to remember getting a thick ear! :)
