          I like the idea - anything to make using tools safer without impacting on using the tools.

          I have a Proxxon mini table saw similar in size to the unit shown in the pic, only difference is that my blade is 100mm.
          Micro Mark sells a sliding table http://www.micromark.com/sliding-tab...-saw,7505.html . Although there is nothing stopping you from making your own with custom jigs to hold those small parts.
