After monitoring news feeds for two days, I opted to sail a couple of boats on a fresh pond near Seattle on Bainbridge Island. It was my inaugural venture with my Kilo outside the trim tank. While leisurely maneuvering to steer clear of weeds, a particularly curious osprey swooped down for an exceedingly close inspection. Luckily, at the final instant, it chose not to snatch my unsuspecting Kilo from the water.
Apart from the human spectators, are there any other potential predators I need to be vigilant about?
