I'd like opinions on what I should get. Other ideas than those here entertained:
I just got shipped the first Holland MK ii from Rick Palumbo.
It doesn't use a Snort. It has a piston tank chamber operated by a pump DC motor. By reversing the current it either fills or empties, and it doesn't have to be proportional. I'm trying to find a good reversing switch.
It's been suggested to me to try a sub ES2:
I already own this:
But I know that the EMS just above has a common, and just switches one lead to control a "second" device. It seems to me to reverse current on one device you need a double pole switch...break both + and - terminals, then switch polarity. Else you'll have a short? Is the ES2 suitable?
There is this possibility which is cheaper but may be bulkier. I can't figure out if it's an RS-5 or RS-1, the text is messed up on the description:
third item from top
I have a separate failsafe I can put in upstream of the device. Thank you.
