I did purchase this neat little device a couple of weeks ago. They tend to be sold as polishers or grinders, but are in essence a very small cordless drill with variable speed control. Not huge torque, so don't trade in the Dremel, but handy for small jobs or areas where space is tight, and not very expensive.
I like it.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.
I didn't buy any new tools but a real radio that was used on German U-Boots to communicate with other boats in the wolfpack. Something for the collection.
